Jennifer Turner Nichols

Attorney

Jennifer is a Beaumont estate planning attorney and business attorney with more than 15 years of experience representing individuals, businesses, and business owners. She is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Estate Planning and Probate and licensed as a Certified Public Accountant.

Prior to starting J Nichols Law, Jennifer was an equity partner at Orgain Bell & Tucker, LLP and served as general counsel to the Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce. She is a former director of the Lamar University Alumni Advisory Board and currently serves on the Lamar University Planned Giving Advisory Counsel.

Jennifer graduated summa cum laude from Lamar University and received her juris doctorate from Baylor Law School where she was an editor of the Baylor Law Review.

Jennifer is proud and blessed to be married to Luke Nichols, also an attorney, who serves as a prosecutor with the Jefferson County, Texas District Attorney’s Office. In her time away from work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with Luke and their three children.

Lauren Randolph

Paralegal

Lauren has worked over 40 years in the legal field with a focus in the areas of estate planning, probate, and business law for more than 30 years. She is involved with client services from start to finish. Lauren’s experience and attention to detail are of great value, but her compassion and empathy for clients is what makes her a true asset to our clients and to our firm.  She goes above and beyond to meet the needs of our clients.

Lauren is married to John and has two children and two grandchildren.  She loves reading, fishing, and most of all attending the frequent sporting events and other activities of her grand twins.

Cecilia Merrell

Paralegal

Cecilia has a Bachelor of Science degree in Paralegal Studies from Liberty University and many years of experience working in the areas of probate, estate planning, real estate, and business law.

Cecilia’s experience and knowledge in our practice areas make her a valuable resource for our clients who truly appreciate and benefit from her ability to answer their questions and concerns. Cecilia knows how to juggle, to keep things moving, and makes our representation process seamless.

Cecilia loves spending time with her four children.
